On 6th February 2023, two major earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitudes occurred in Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş. More than 13 million Turkish citizens living in the cities of Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Kilis and Adana have been affected by these earthquakes.
AFAD, the official organization of Turkish Republic, has been appointed as the responsible establishment for each and every kind of search and rescue operation and all kinds of aid activities for our citizens affected by this major disaster and all aids from both Turkey and the world are coordinated by AFAD and provided to the earthquake victims.

Important Note: While sending aid via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) T.C. İçişleri Bakanlığı Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetimi Başkanlığı Deprem ve Risk Azaltma Genel Müdürlüğü must be written on the Name of the Receiver segment.
